Previous PostPrayer: Lord, I ask that you would help me to stand firm. Satan disguises himself as an angel of light, so it is not always the things that seem obviously evil that can cause me to slip.
Often it’s the things that appear harmless, or even good, that can cause me to stumble.
Help me to see through the disguise. Give me discernment and wisdom. It can be easy to be lulled to sleep and forget that I am in a war for my soul and the souls around me. Jesus, please help me stay in the battle and hold the line.
Help me remember who and what I’m fighting for so that I will stand firm.
