While there is no verifiable written word-for-word representation of
the Apostles Creed prior to 340 A.D., we can be confident that the
Apostles Creed is the most accurate representation of the Christian
Faith in the form of a creed.

The Saints taught what they called “The Rule of Faith” which is
essentially the Apostles Creed. The early church had no codified
defined creeds as we have today. The Christian teachings were
handed down through the preaching of the Saints.

The early church taught what is basically in the Apostles creed,
yet, they never had a written form of their teaching and called it
“The Apostles Creed.”

I believe in God the Father, Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord Who was
conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virginMary; Suffered
under Pontius Pilate; was crucified,dead, and buried; He descended into
hell; The third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father
Almighty; From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit. I believe a holy catholic Church, the
communion of saints; The forgiveness of sins; The resurrection
of the body And the life everlasting. AMEN

The Nicene Creed, also called the Nicaeno-Constantinopolitan Creed,
is a statement of the orthodox faith of the early ChristianChurch,
in opposition to certain heresies, especially Arianism.

I believe in one God, theFather Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth,
and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the
only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds;
God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made,
being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made.
Who, for us men and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and
was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin

Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate;
He suffered andwas buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the
Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father;
and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the living and the dead;whose
kingdom shall have no end.

And I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life; whoproceedeth from
the Father and the Son; who withthe Father and the Son together is worshipped
and glorified; who spake by the prophets.

And I believe one holy catholic and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism
for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life
of the world to come. AMEN

ABOUT US

Dear friends and neighbors

As members of Armor Up Ministries, we are constantly reminded of the importance of putting on the full armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:10-18. This armor is essential in our daily spiritual battles and in standing firm in our faith. But as we know, the armor of God is not just for our own personal protection and growth in faith – it is also forthe purpose of being able to effectively serve and minister to others.
In Romans 8:28, we arereminded that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. This includes the trials and difficulties we face, as they can be used by God to refine and strengthenus for His work. As Armor Up Ministries, we believe that God has called us to be a shining light in the darkness and to share the hope and love of Jesus with those aroundus.

This calling is exemplified in the teachings of Jesus, as recorded in the sermon on the mount in Matthew chapter 5. In verse 16 Jesus says; “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may seeyourgood works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Jesus calls us to seek first the kingdom of God. These teachings challenge us to go beyond just living out our faith privately but to actively seek out opportunities to serve and minister to others.

As Armor Up Ministries, we are constantly seeking ways to fulfill this calling and to make a positive impact in our community and beyond. This is where we need your help. We are calling on all followers of Christ, friends, as well as our neighbors, to join us in this mission and to assist us in our efforts to spread the love and hope of Jesus. There are many ways you can get involved, including volunteering your time and talents, donating financially, and praying for our ministry and those we serve.

Through music, dance, and other forms of artistic expression, we seek to honor and glorify God while also using our talents and gifts to serve others.

At Armor Up Ministries, we believe that biblical sturdiness is the foundation for meaningful help to our community. We strive to live outthe teachings of Jesus and to follow his example of love and compassion for those in need. We believe that by embodying these values, we can makea positive impact on the lives of those around us and bring hope and healing to those who are hurting.

Direct service efforts include Bible studies, group meetings, one on one value time, food drives, Christmas fundraisers, paint nights, worship sessions-unique to ArmorUp ministries, and many more amazing programs ahead. Wealso utilize artistic expression as a means of raising awareness about important social issues and advocating for positive change in our community. We believe that through our art, we can inspire others to join us in our efforts to make a difference. It is written, in Proverbs 17:3, “Fire tests the purity of silver and gold, but the Lord tests the heart.” Greater the word, the greater the walk.”’”(Zechariah1:1-6)NASB1995">
